UPDATE: Flatbread Grill, LLC vs. Vieira's Bakery INC.

There is not much to update right now as we wait for a 'mediation' date.

Do we have more to say? ABSOLUTELY! TBH... we knew opposing counsel was going to try and find a way to slow down and delay the enforcement of our subpoenas and depositions.

It's sort of a bummer for us because we really, REALLY wanted the third party discovery and depositions to take place and we were just getting started with uncovering more pertinent information. However, the magistrate judge, who has been more than fair to both sides in this situation, has suggested and agreed mediation is a good idea. So we will respect her suggestion and follow through. Are we content? No, but then again, we haven't been content with any of this and the longer it drags on, the more our damages go up and the more enraged we become and the more information we uncover. To respect the litigation process, we have decided not to update this blog with anymore information until mediation is complete, despite having uncovered much more infuriating tidbits and tea we really wish we could spill publicly.

We have also had major press reach out to us because they were interested in covering this litigation, but we declined to participate (FOR NOW). We will have our chance to speak on this matter more, but first, we wait for mediation. And again, just as a reminder, mediation is yet another opportunity for Vieira's Bakery to settle this or continue to fight and if they choose to continue to fight, we would really love it if they stop whining about all the 'damage' this litigation is doing to their business. You can't lie, drag things out, delay, disrupt other people's business, hurt them, steal, and then cry when your actions are exposed. We all reap what we sow and we have shown them mercy, considering everything we now know about what took place behind the scenes. Until next time...
